5 Good News Stories This Week

On the theme of lists, I thought I should start by providing you with 5 news stories that actually make you think the world is moving in the right direction (even if it's about 5 years slower than you'd like).

1. The BC Government may be acknowledging that open-net fish farming is pretty bad stuff.
2. The French, like French Canadians (who, in Quebec, are leading the whole country in social policy) may have their priorities straight.
3. People are remembering that there is more to life than just function.
4. No more coverage (games or news) of these guys.
5. Hot air balloons are getting safer.

Ok, I may have cheated a bit on the last 3, but in defense of #4, Les Habs and the Senators are simply far more exciting to watch.

Wow, (returning to) a moratorium is a pretty big step for the BC government, after having spent years and so much money trying to convince everyone that there was no problem.

I love that they are at least starting to do the right thing here!
